V dob\u011b do za\u010d\u00e1tku I. sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky automobilka zapracovala na zm\u011bn\u00e1ch v konstrukci voz\u016f a organizaci v\u00fdroby, nap\u0159\u00edklad se zavedlo sva\u0159ov\u00e1n\u00ed sou\u010d\u00e1stek. Ihned po v\u00e1lce se d\u00edky t\u011bmto zm\u011bn\u00e1m za\u010dal vyr\u00e1b\u011bt model Fiat 501, kter\u00fd se vyr\u00e1b\u011bl a\u017e do roku 1926 a vyrobilo se ho do t\u00e9 doby \u00factyhodn\u00fdch 47 600 kus\u016f. Od roku 1927 se za\u010daly i d\u0159ev\u011bn\u00e9 sou\u010d\u00e1stky nahrazovat kovov\u00fdmi.&#13; &#13;  U modelu 514P z roku 1929 se poprv\u00e9 pou\u017eily hydraulick\u00e9 tlumi\u010de. V roce 1932 se na trhu objevil nov\u00fd model 508, kter\u00fd se stal trh\u00e1kem i u n\u00e1s, jeho cena za\u010d\u00ednala na \u010d\u00e1stce 27 500, celkov\u011b se ho vyrobilo 113 tis\u00edc kus\u016f. Roku 1935 p\u0159i\u0161la automobilka op\u011bt s nov\u00fdm modelem Fiat 1500, kter\u00fd se jako jeden z prvn\u00edch voz\u016f testoval v aerodynamick\u00e9m tunelu, v\u00fdsledkem tohoto zkoum\u00e1n\u00ed byly zapu\u0161t\u011bn\u00e9 kliky u dve\u0159\u00ed, sv\u011btla v blatn\u00edc\u00edch a v\u00fdrazn\u011b ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed aerodynamick\u00fd odpor. Naprosto p\u0159elomov\u00fdm vozem t\u00e9to automobilky se stal Fiat 500 Topolino, byl to prvn\u00ed skute\u010dn\u011b lidov\u00fd v\u016fz, kter\u00fd se velmi v\u00fdrazn\u011b pod\u00edlel na motorizaci It\u00e1lie, tohoto vozu se celkov\u011b vyrobilo 520 tis\u00edc kus\u016f.
